Ms. Juliana Fashanu

Ms. Juliana Fashanu is a Business Performance Manager with the City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works. Prior to this position, Mrs. Fashanu served as the Business/Operations Manager for a small federal consulting firm outside of Washington D.C. Serving as a Legislative Assistant for Maryland State Senator Verna L. Jones and Congressional Intern for former Congressman J.C. Watts, Mrs. Fashanu has also acquired a wide range of expertise in policy development and community relations. In addition, she has also had the privilege of working on international initiatives and policies during her tenure at the United Nations. According to Juliana “African Universities mission to develop and transform future leaders in Africa and beyond provides a unique opportunity to create a place of learning that allows the African community at large to dig deeper and invest in its greatest commodity; its children.” Juliana received her Bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics from University of Maryland at College Park. She also completed a master’s degree in Social and Public Policy Studies from Georgetown University.
